National Archives backs BPHA with new grant

The Archives Resilience grantsprogramme organised by the National Archives is open to archives throughout the United Kingdom to apply for resilience-building projects of up to £15,000, with no minimum level of funding.

The Birmingham People’s History Archive made an application under the 2022-23 scheme and was pleased to be successful.

Our archive, currently housed in the Birmingham & Midland Institute hopes to utilise the skills of a professional archivist to assist with the development of our catalogue, initially begun in 2021 under the direction of the National Archives.
